There is Air Berlin (low cost carrier ) which offers one way fares between Zurich and Berlin ( Tegel Airport ) . They operate 3-4 times a day , flight time is 80minutes and Tegel Airport is connected to the city center by bus.

You could always take the train. I was just in Germany last month and I got a rail pass from www.raileurope.com. If you are going to be traveling a lot then it is the best way to go. They also have discounts for those 25 and under. You could also go to www.bahn.de to see how much it is for just that train ticket. There are many low cost airlines in europe. The only one that can come to mind right now is ryan air but I know there are others just google it. A friend of mine met us in Berlin from london and she used air berlin and said it was pretty cheap. Oh and I believe there is a train that goes from bern to berlin every day. I got on the train in munich and it had just come from there. Not exactly sure how far zurich is from bern. If you need anything else just let me know.

i'd go with air. it's a long way to travel by train, unless you like being on a train all day. low fares can be found pretty easily. i've seen RT tickets between Dusseldorf and Zurich for as little as $125 (incl tax) on Swiss.

Make your selection about travel method based on convenience and personal preference. You can get good prices either way. Make your travel arrangements as early as you can to get the best deals.
And, don't forget travel medical insurance. It protects you whenever you are outside your home country.
Go to http://www.wavehelp.com/travel-medical/index.htm and click on the little red phone booth next to Travel Guard. When that next page pops up, click on through to get a no-obligation quote or all the details.
Best wishes.

i could stay away from going to Zurich, its very high priced to get from there to Florence or Rome. the main inexpensive trains I actual have got here upon are around 80 euro in line with individual one way. Trains from Rome to Florence are in basic terms 15.80 Euro each and every way for the sluggish practice (3 hrs and 40 5 minutes). additionally, it somewhat is in all probability greater much less high priced to fly into Rome than to Zurich. undergo in concepts additionally that in case you rather need to work out Zurich, it is going to suck up approximately 8 hours of your commute time getting from there to Florence that's helpful time you ought to apply to work out the factors of interest. As for the 12 days, you ought to truly only spend them in italy, dividing it sluggish the two between Rome and Florence. There are a assorted museums in the two cities that are astonishing if it somewhat is your cup of tea. in any different case the geographical region is alluring. incredibly Tuscany. yet another great component approximately Rome and Florence is which you are able to use them as bases for day journeys to neighboring cities. In Tuscany, you're able to desire to hit up Pisa, Lucca, Siena and San Gimignano no longer less than. That way you are able to combination up museums with alluring geographical region.
